Clear Water around Apo Island Beach Resort

The water here is so clear around Apo Island Beach Resort, I have been snorkeling around this place a few times, last was earlier today where the waves were pounding high outside the protected area here, and the water around these rocks were still as clear as last time.

You can even see the corals from the boat where this picture was taken. We are just about to arrive on Apo Island here.

When we went to Apo Island today we did not bring anything but camera, snorkle and mask. We decided before we left the house today that we did not want to burden of carrying things around on Apo. We had our lunch in Apo Island Beach Resort, the food there was great, but the selection was a bit limited - most of the menu was veggies or chicken, but we managed.

After the lunch I grabbed my snorkeling gear and went in the water right in front of the resort to try that area out too. I was quite disappointed in the beginning because the bottom was littered with trash. But 15-20 meters out it cleared up and I found that they actually have very good corals here at Apo Island Beach Resort too.
