Last Shot before Boarding the Banca to Apo Island

One last photo before we board the banca headed to Apo Island. We were all in high spirits excited about seeing Apo Island Marine Sanctuary and the Protected Seascape. We had heard and read so much about the place and now it was finally time to go see for ourselves.

We were lucky with the weather that day, no wind and no clouds to speak of, snorkeling is much better in sunshine as long as you take protective measures like waterproof sun tan lotion with you.

The banca ride over to Apo Island is a good time to put on the first layer of sun tan lotion by the way, better safe than crispy and sorry the day after a trip to Apo Island.
