Malatapay Departure Area

This is where you catch the banca boat to Apo island, the pier in this picture is now defunct and not used any more, you board your banca to Apo Island right on the beach here.

There are different kinds of boats that will take you over to Apo Island, the smaller ones are P1500 and will carry up to 6 people while the bigger ones will carry up to 12 people and is priced at P2500.

The charge covers the whole day, so the banca will drop you off on Apo Island and wait for you there until late afternoon around 3.30pm - 4pm and then take you back to Negros.
