Apo Island Rock Formations

There are some beautiful rock formations right at the landing area where the banca boats are pulling up on the beach. These beautiful rockformations have been defaced by morons wanting their names to stay on Apo Forever, it is a sad sight to see something so beautiful plastered with stupid grafitti.

Ok I am done ranting, it is also great swimming around the rocks with mask and snorkle, there are loads of fish and some corals right here. The water here gets deep fast, but the visibility is still great and you can still see details on the bottom all the way around the rock formations.

Apo Island has so much nature to offer, and I can sit for hours just looking at the azure blue water and the beautiful rock formations here. Just think about how many millions of years it has taken nature to build these wonders.

I actually saw two black and white sea snakes while snorkeling around these rocks, the snakes were busy searching for food between the corals and rocks on the bottom, so I could observe them from the surface for quite some time. Pretty fascinating. Of course my girlfriend could run ON the water back to the beach when she saw them, she is not a bit snake fan.

Apo Island Beach resort is located right behind this rock formation, and from their side the rocks has not been defaced with grafitti.
