Sailing to Apo Island

We are now getting closer to Apo Island, you can make out details like trees and of course the lighthouse on the top of the mountain there. we were lucky with the weather here and the waves we encoutnered on the trip over to Apo Island from Zamboanguita was very small. The boatmen told us the seas out there can be pretty rough at times - a very good argument for always picking the bigger boats.

The waters around Apo island are just blue blue blue, I found myself staring down in the ocean a lot on the way over to Apo Island. A friend of mine here in Maayong Tubig told me there are also good chances to spot dolphins on the way over to Apo Island from Zamboanguita. We did not see any dolphins on this trip, I hope we will next time.
