Yesterday morning I received a call from Guenther of Casablanca. He invited me to try his July-Special. Knowing the size of his servings I didn't eat the whole day and arrived there hungry, ready to stuff food into my belly up to maximum expansion.
His special of the month is like the Hax'n last month a Austrian/Bavarian dish, called
Schlachtplatte
(Schweinebraten, Kassler, Depreziner mit Sauerkraut und Bratkartoffeln)
and that for less than 300 Peso. The right picture is
no second serving... no need to say that it was delicious... an absolute "must" when you are in Dumaguete in July.
I have no idea how he can make money with this monster-servings, but actually I don't care

. Finishing that is a challenge, Jelly if you gave up on the Hax'n, there is no way to go through that.
The biggest task for the lovely staff of Casablanca was rolling me home up to Batinguel after that dish...
