kimchi jigae (fermented caggage based stew)

negros inn adjacant to the airport. the restaurant is external at the back of the inn
decor : conservative hotel style
best dishes : the samgopsal and dackkalbi grills wins here. meats are grilled at the side of the table by a staff member, various sides (banchan) are provided and applied as per your tastes

dosirak : 2nd floor above stefs on silliman avenue
decor : korean cutesy with a cantina layout
best dishes : kimbab (similar to californian roll sushi)
kongaltan (clear pork bone soup)

for the foodies out there - the korean grocer h-mart on katada street, offers the primary ingredients and plenty of local produce can be improvised

korean tastes are not to every palate, and for those on vacation from korea. dumaguete's food offerings will seem utilitarian in comparison to the aromas, sensations and delights on offer in korea. for those resident in duma, there are some great dishes available. bibimbah should be a compulsory try out
Hi barramac,

Korean Food is one of my favorite. Been to Jumong in our previous visit and tried some beef dishes. I might say my Bulgogi and Kalbe is much better. We will check Negros Inn and Dosirak in our forthcoming visit. Regards.
