I'm neither a Teacher nor an engineer. I'm Taiwanese & I currently work and live in China in charge of sourcing & managing a team of employees and suppliers for an optical company....I love my job as 80% of the time I work remotely through phone and computers from my home in Zhuhai (all my suppliers are in other cities). I love both Taiwan and Philippines, and yes they are indeed very different culturally and ethnically from another----both places' got countless things that I love about as well as a few things that truely irritates me, but without a doubt I wouldn't mind retiring in either place.....though I may have to give Philippines a slight edge. But for now, Zhuhai is the place of my preference, it's got everything that I look for in a small city: low cost of living, great sub tropical weather, excellent food, great shopping, just a hop and a skip away from Macau & Hong Kong...even Taiwan (70 minute flight), and last but certainly not least...we have aloooooooooooot of beautiful women around (I'm single & in my early 40's by the way
