Hello all, here are some pics of the house, moments away from Malatapay.
The quality of the pics is not great but give you an idea of the size of the property. I'll be visiting Dumaguete next January and provide my contact number by PM to all interested.
The house needs refurbishing, such as painting, gutters refitting, flooring, new bathroom & kitchen (the toilet is already plumbed to a sceptic tank), plumbing, telephone connection.
Its great asset is the location, just off the National Highway, and a stone throw from Malatapay beach Resort and the small pier from where you could hire a pump boat ride to Apo Island. Considering that most of the works required are not structural but decorative it should not cost over the top to turn it into a lovely home. There is a water pump at the back, so there is scope to install a water tank and potentially to extend the property. A torrent runs on its side, its banks are supported by boulders and concrete to avoid erosion.
No title to it although deeds of ownership are at hand, and the price reflects that. I could eventually provide a title, I just never bothered as I'm in the country for only short spells of time and the process is time consuming, I could nevertheless deal with if necessary.
Letting potential is also great given its location.
