It might be my Calvinistic heritage but I am against betting since it is proven to be highly addictive and ruins families. Like alcohol and drug abuse it is a threat to society.
Can't say I like bloodsports either but I am not going to wind myself up over a dead chicken, bio industry is likely more cruel to animals and there are a lot of people in dire circumstances and that takes priority for me. |
