Re the mentioned resort. I have been there twice (my mrs is from Bayawan).
First time we could not even get a soft drink as the place had been taken over for a convention of 7th Day Adventists...
Second time, we managed to get some mineral water. The one person who seemed to be a worker there did not seem interested in drumming up business. They have rooms/shacks, but I did not even bother to ask how much or look at one in case I disturbed her slumber (there were also a couple of evil looking dogs lurking by).
A great shame as the location is great....
