Actually, you can find all the steps needed to process any kind of visa to the US through their website:
USCIS Home Page. I have been through this and based on my experience, some of the people who try to help are not really helping you. Some of the "procedures" are no longer done and have been updated. So it's much better to get the details from the source itself and then just follow through.
