Cool This is Forest Camp

(Excerpt from Entrepreneur.com.ph - Money - Forest Camp)

Eleven kilometers west of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental is Forest Camp, an oasis that began as a picnic area for the Vicuņa family in the early 1990s before the Vicuņas opened it to friends, and eventually to the public.

The camp is now all of 2.2 hectares. It charges P800 for a 12-hour stay in its backpackers' den, which can accommodate up to 10 people, and P1,000 for a 24-hour stay in any of its cottages. Its main hall can house up to 250 people and may be reserved for wedding receptions or conferences for P2,000. The dormitory holds up to 20 students.
