Turtles in Apo Island

A good friend of mine is visiting us in Dauin right now, so we decided to go snorkeling in Apo Island. This time the water was a little calmer and it was a lot easier to get in and out of the water, last time was a bit dangerous because of the high waves.

I was snorkeling around almost by the drop wall in the outskirts of the Seascape // Marine Sanctuary when suddenly I saw something that looked like a piece of coral started moving quite far from me, I started swimming towards it and it turned out to be a nice big sea turtle - man this thing was cool the way it gently "flew" through the water.

The turtle did not seem to be bothered by us following it, so we swam after it for about 15 minutes until we realized we already swam past the rocks and the current was starting to get a bit stronger. We turned around and had a hard swim back to the beach, but it was really cool to see the turtle out there
