there is no logic in that argument
I do not explore for oil in my own back yard unlike yourself who seems intent on turning my back yard into another Phuket or majorca.
You said youy do not need to work so why foul your own place.
make a wewbsite on thailand and send even more people there.
I just do not knwo why you want to make the Phils more commercial
begs belief
I think you would be ahppier in Pattaya i really do
there you can get all the junk food you desire and have enough tourists to make a website earn a tonne of money

Hmmmm... and who is ripping all those unfortunate beautiful pilipinas??

seem to recall your job is working for the oil industry... Finding oil and ripping up our beautiful nature... But that is ok as long as you make a buck right?

There is no logic in my argument???? Sorry Yabs, you were caught with your hypocritical pants around your ancles and this is all you can come up with????

But it is ok to destroy the environment as long as it is XXX Kilometers from where you like to be right now?

Sorry Yabs, you make no sense at all...

Saying I belong in Pattaya is pure garbage, I really do not like it there based on a lot of things. I love the Philippines and I wish to help the people here find other ways of making money than dynamite fishing - or even letting big nasty companies explore the country for oil...

I think it would make more sense for you to go live on a small island without electric, tv and McD... You would love it there as it would be totally unspoilt.

Your job is one of the worst in the world when it comes to commercial exploitation... But again - you make a buck and you can not see it from Why Not so it's ok...

You are against everbody's but your own progress... why?

Take this up to revision, think about your job for a moment and then think about your hypocritical whining here about getting Dumaguete to be a better place with more real jobs and helping locals make more money...

I know you are biased as long as you make $$$ exploiting the environment, so let's say you did not make a buck on it, then would you really think picture #1(oil rig) is to prefer more than picture #2(tourists)?

if you go to bohol and do a day trip to the chocolate hills, loboc river and to see the tarsiers, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... DO NOT let your driver take you to one of those road side tourist traps to see the caged Tarsiers. Ask them to take you to the Tarsier Visitor Center. The entrance fee to the center is only 20 pesos, and you will get to see many more tarisers without them being in a sad little cage. Your driver will probably ask for more money to take you there and tell you it's far and out of the way. it's not that far, or out of the way... and it's TOTALLY WORTH IT!

please don't encourage locals to catch and cage the few remaining tarsiers there are left.
