Hi, I am due in the phils early July i have read alot about bohol and thinking it might be a nice place to base myself.

Any ideas from anyone of what sort of house/apart would be available for around 7,000peso a month, if any!!

Don't know where on Bohol you're going but you should find a reasonably nice place for that amount in one of the coastal towns. Wouldn't be flash, but comfortable enough. Those towns are pretty quiet though. You'd likely get a 'cozy' place in Tagbilaran for that amount too. Panglao might have something, probably away from the beach, if you're lucky...There are a few Bohol expats who hangout at the Yahoo group..Living in Cebu..but probably wouldn't hurt to ask on all the major Yahoo groups related to expat living in the Philippines.

Thanks for that, as long as i know the money i am thinking about is roughly in the right area i can look around when i get there. I dont mind a quite place but i guess if I could find somthing in Tagbilaran that wud be good.
