Polaris Resort - Worse than Mc Donalds

After a long day online I started to relax and playing some guitar when a text-message came in. Nobody else than our very own YABS send me a Txt from his Vacation in Bohol at Polaris Beach and Dive Resort.

The following are the original quotes of our txt's:

Yabs: At polaris resort. Food is utter shite. Worst I have in the Phils. Will post this on DI. Even Mac shite would be better i think. They cook everything in tomato ketchup.

Rhoody: Can I quote that? They already ask what is wrong with you

Yabs: Yes As a warning to others. This place has worst food in the country. Great shame as really nice place. Owned by a german so mystery as to why food is so shite.

Rhoody: I will put it up in the Bohol section

Yabs: Please do really bad. Two meals coked in Tomato Ketchup. Only Kids do that.

Rhoody: I will quote your original txt

Yabs: Yes it is really that bad. They should be closed down.

Rhoody: Promise, you will be not diasppointed on Sat. The new italian place is really good

Yabs: Hope so. I am captive here. No other place to go. and apart from soup and scrambled egg food is shite

Rhoody: That's how it is if you don't have a longnose controlling it.

Yabs: Yep local cannot cook . period.

Yabs:Owner is away I think. No way that german would put up with food like this

Rhoody: There was something about Polaris 2 month ago on DI about wrong job placements

Yabs: Advertising you mean ?

Rhoody: No. someone made a jobplacement online for the resort and collected money in advanced. But there was never a vacant job.

Yabs: Really, was it for a cook ?

Rhoody: I cant remember. But even some guys from South Africa paid quite a bit in advanced

Yabs: So was it actually someone from here ?

Rhoody: I really don't know. This is the kind of Thread I don't need to control, so I don't really read it to safe some time in my daily routine. But you better should have. instead of only Robinson's..hehe

Yabs: Hehe

Rhoody: The thread is on, with all txt..

Yabs: I may advertise for a cook, they really need one

Update on Yabs....

he survived and escaped from the "shite" kitchen just to find himself in a heavy storm in another Resort in Negros with leaking roof...

Your the man... I guess in a mall it would be dry... hehe...

I stayed there my first time in the philippines, few years ago. food sucked then too. owner's wife overheard me complain to the filipina with me, and she interrupted to say, 'this is what we offer, if you dont like it eat someplace else.' good advise, but its the only game in town. there is another resort up the beach (beach?), but believe it or not, it's worse. Polaris food tastes like shyte because they dont give a shyte. they dont have to. frankly, i found the whole island boring. fortunately i brought my own entertainment, and didnt give a shyte.

However, i forgot to mention, the owner, if he shows, makes pizza on thursday eve in an outdoor wood burning oven. don't feel disappointed if you missed it yabs. it was shyte too.

the whole place just had a bad attitude. and that was my intro to the filipines. the food is shyte.
