Default Prescription Diving Mask

Hello everyone, I might be tempted to give it a go at my first diving lesson at my next visit to Dumaguete. I'm shortsighted though and will need some prescription diving mask. How do we get round this problem?

Two ways to get around that, contact's or you need to buy a prescription mask.

Maybe he could break the arms off his glasses and epoxy the glasses to the bridge of his nose.
It'd be like a pair of spectacles under a standard mask.
Problem solved.

I found prescription lenses for sale at the dive shop in the shopping mall in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Total cost for lenses and mask was $70.00. You will have to know what lens number to buy.

logicwings...that is cheap! I used scubastore.com to get a Mares x-vision mask and lenses and it would have been well over twice that price you got...Are the Tag city masks any good?....I can't complain - best mask I've ever had - never leaked a drop - but the prices here in Oz are really horrendous for prescription-lensed masks...

love the x-vision but does not fit on my face. Went for the Cressi Matrix a kind of similar with even better view and softer silicon. different lenses are available in Cebu and can be shipped here in one day.

Seavision in Florida are probably the best for bifocal prescription masks...you pay though about $200+ for the quality of the lens and mask however, I am really happy with mine. I even got the red coloured lenses which make everything underwater look even better...and a purge valve which I also really like as I don't have to clear the mask anymore.
Sometimes it is worth paying for the best!
