Default What are you doing for scuba tanks?

I'm wondering what the expats are doing regarding scuba tanks. Do you find it easier to own yours, or do you just rent? I found that Dgte area shops were reluctant to let you just rent one and take if off with you as is done where I live in the US

Dave, at Private Garden has tanks. If he knows you he might rent one to you.

Refill of own tank 80 pesos there, Rhoody.
Indeed 100 pesos to rent a filled tank. A great place with excellent service !!
Even many dive shops go there to have their tanks refilled.
I have my own steel tank here but do mostly rent their tanks for that difference of only 20 pesos.
You can bring it back another day even.
A friend of my did rent there more tanks and they did not mind if he brought them back after some days (except i.c.o. bussy periods !)
