Jackie cousteau, 40 countries? Ok! Bwahahaha!
I just said that you can get a package deal around $289 which includes the flight and 2 or 3 days to Guam or Saipan. I think that you can get better deals for flights to Palau from Davao. I did not say that you should go diving that afternoon when you arrive or it is some kind of dive package deal. You are just projecting your business again. Ditto leaving after diving. You can get a good room for $50 a night on Guam. Maybe less on Saipan.

Ha, island girl boat on guam is for fishing. I just used it as an example because only amatuers need to know the name of dive company's boats or people in the business of promoting diving.

I recall the devastation of coral off of boracay and massive amounts of crown of thorns too. Poor visability too.

40 countries?!!!! Wow! You are Jackie Cousteau! Is Puerta Galera a country?

nice thing about diving on Guam is that in case someone makes a mistake and gets the bends, there are two different chambers on guam to take care of the bends. They only have one of these in the Philippines and it is at St.Lukes and the doc's there have no clue in how to properly use it.

You should try diving on Guam someday. let me know and I will hook you up.

hallo Jellyfish,

thank you for your response. i like to speak also about beer ......

itīs pity, that my english is so bad. in my young time (in the 60īs/ 70īs) we had to learn in the school russian and only a small english.
itīs a luck, that under the water is this mostly not so importent.

interesting discussion here now

many greetings from germany

Esox, when you are with me you don't have to worry about your English.
It's as easy for me to speak German as English.
Speaking about beer ?? You're welcome . prosit und Gesundheit !
If you learned Russian on school you likely are/were living in the east part of Germany.
PM me when you're here and we have a beer and maybe as well some dives.

Some people here talk about diving as of being an experienced diver but don't show to have real knowledge about it.
It's for them probably only to give others the opinion that they are quite macho people who even dive (sometimes ).
I find it so curious to read everytime again that people don't really answer to questions.
I ask myself WHY ? (no, I do lie now: I have a good idea why they do so )
I still did not read where and how often Mr. TB (or is it indeed Yabs ?) did dive in the Philippines (I asked him for it) to figure out that maybe he only dived in 1 or 2 places which were (during those 3 dives he made there) like "dirty bath tubs"

I only dive 30 years, of which 25 years as being a 2* CMAS instructor.
I'm not telling this to boost, but purely to say that people may believe that maybe I know a little bit of diving and maybe I did dive around the world a little bit in those many years.
If other people don't come up (if asked) with their knowledge and experience of diving but only give evidence by their reactions to be 'not-yet-that experienced' than it's better not to react at all to them.
On another thread we had this discussion earlier (indeed Rhoody).
The most experienced divers I KNOW are surely not divers who have a preference for only a few dive locations in the world.
I guess that that has MAYBE something to do with the differences of the many places: Ice diving is great (I tell you), wreck diving is even thrilling in bath tub dirty water like the North Sea, cave dives are unique, night dives are so special, drift dives are not only for lasy divers ............shall I go on ?
Would like to know how much experience some have, since they talk a lot (like me now ) but give more impresssion to be novices.

I guess you were on one of SAM'S dive boats in Palau? Big rip-off!

I have never heard about the box jellyfish being in Guam, Saipan, Chuuk, Yap and or Palau. This is news to me.

Nitrox? How deep are you going?

They had some people diving right off of the pier in Merizo, Guam a few years back looking for the remains of a Spanish Galleon. That was pretty interesting. They were using Nitrox but, they were going over 200 feet down. Pulled up some silver coins and plates but, one of the guys died so, they stopped diving.
Nitrox? how deep are you going?

This statement prove your knowledge of diving is very limited.
As long as Nitrox only is air which is Oxygen anriched. The most common ones is EAN32 and EAN36, where the number refer O2 persentage.Bigger O2 numbers are sometimes used as "decompression gas" for tecnical divers. And cause of that wil give you a less flexible breathing gas. So no one using Nitrox is going to 200 feet. At least if they not try to commit suicide. As long as EAN36 will reach PPO2 1,6bar and practical used limit of O2poisoning before you reaching 35 meter depth (036 x4,5bar =1,62bar PPO2)

Sorry pal.
********
Sorry,didn't see it allready commented.

And as Rhoody are commenting we normally use PPO2 1,4.As "the level"
