at least your speakers are working normal (what is for a K-place totally unacceptable).
You need to have at least 3 cracks in each membran and replace the volume-fader with a 2-way switch (off-noise). This in combination with the K-typical "tin-can"-reverb and "My Way" would make it into the top3 of American Idol ...

hehehe, the usual person just doesnt seem to care enough and doesn't mind the annoying screeching sounds of most karaoke places. The management plays with the eq and settings but don't really know how to strive for an accurate professional sounding mix
