Herbalizer can only hope to improve
Default Best health spa/massage in Dumaguete?

I wonder if anyone has run across a place worth recommending for a nice Thai or Swedish massage in Dumaguete?

Hi Herbalizer,
Check Nuat Thai in Pinili St. tel#422-4951. Also check Body and Sole -(035)422-2122 for foot massage, body scrub and Swedish massage. You can ask for loyalty bonus card on your first visit which entitles you to receive one free treatment after you visited them for 10 treatments.

Yes, Nuat Thai is a good one. Our whole household is addicted to their massage that we try to visit the place at least once a month

The service is great although the building creaks when you walk but the atmosphere is great and the massage heavenly I have had massages there when I had a really terrible headache - believe me, the headache was gone before 10 minutes has elapsed!

Try their hot tea after the massage, too.

We tried Body and Soul earlier this week, but are now looking for a slow relaxing Thai massage. Thanks for the recommendation. We're looking forward to being pretzeled.

Where exactly is Pinili St? What else is there that I might recognize? Or can someone recommend a good map of Dumaguete? Google maps is pretty weak for the Philippines. I picked up a tourist map from the local tourist office... but its not very detailed, mostly just the boardwalk/market area, and I tend to lose paper. Where's my wallet?

MrShim,

Check out "Healing Hand's" (sic) on Banilad Highway. They gave the best Thai massage I have had in DGT.

Well, guess what, after trying out all the local massage and spas here in Dumaguete for me the skilled hands of the local blind masseurs along Rizal Avenue are my fave! They often turn a blind eye on time (no pun intended) and charge only P200 for more than an hour's worth of whole body massage.

Hi MrShim,
Pinili Street is near where the SMART phone company in Dumaguete is located. Also you can call Nuat Thai to get their exact location. I posted their phone number in my previous post.

Thanks for the clarification K-2. I'm slowly getting to know my way around. Near Smart is perfect. I can get a massage every month when I go to pay my bill!... though I'm sure I can think up other excuses too.

Kayleigh, thanks for the link. I was hoping for detailed street maps with street names, etc... Wikimapia uses Google maps which doesn't have a decent street/map view of Dumaguete. But it looks handy for finding some new things in relation to other tagged items I recognize. Cheers.
