I just know peoples as my Ex-Boss had his 50th birthday party there...
If yuo are 6 or more you can order there some unreal good Korean food, but you need to call a day or so in advanced. I guess I may need to investigate that with B.a.B

2) there was no sand bank (only stony beach) and acc. to the people at Korean Dive Resort there IS never a sand bank.
The river at the left hand side could however possibly make a sand bank under certain conditions (like at my own place) but the workers at the dive resort haven't seen it ever, they said.

I will continue to search B&B.
The spot is too nice NOT to do so.
BTW: The Korean Dive Resort is not of a high standard like some others in Dauin and Maluay/Zamboanguita but it looks OK to me.
Thank you Jelly for having an effort to take a pictures on that place and post it here.At least we know that it’s really look like that below, and this nice shots from the aerial can only be seen 2-3 times per year. That’s lessen the big expectation in case I visit that place.Just a bit of disappointment, but just ok.

I would like to differ on this..

..that view of Apo Island on the pic can only be seen IF you are West-SouthWest of Apo Island. What I mean is that, that specific view/angle of Apo is possible only from Zamboanguita proper going southwards towards Siaton ...

..standing on top or on Bondo, you'd see that angle ...

And IF Peoples Resort is NORTH of Bahura(Maayong Tubig, Dauin), for sure that wont be the view/angle one would see of Apo Island.

I'd say that was taken somewhere between Zamboanguita and Siaton.

Aying, you told the same as I did some postings ago, but there was someone quite sure it was near Peoples Resort
Exactly your arguments were the same as mines.
But finally we all agreed, it's more south of Peoples Resort
My place (Maluay, 6 km south of Peoples Resort) is even not enough south to show the same angle to Apo Island.

Yeah, I'd love to find that specific spot though. I hope I'll find time once I get back home. Ill take it up as a challenge to myself.....

I just feel good, knowing I still know my Negros Oriental. Hehehe specially the south ..(Dumaguete to Basay).. as that is where I grew up, live in and probably retire in(in the far future)....

Hello Jelly. I was at the beginning thinkin of your place,The river fits, but was also a little confused about the angle of APO. At the same time I also think the photo is taken with a "wide angle" frontlens.Maybe a 15mm "fisheye" or so. So that you get both wide and zoom.Thats also maybe why we are a little confused.

blackline,

so where do you think this picture was taken?

I wonder where Outcast took that picture in the thread Apo Island>Beautiful Island.. that would be a good reference.... since it has a different angle view of Apo...

Well that is not so easy for me to say exactly , cause there seems to me that i is a little troubly to check the angles to APO from here in Norway.
But here maybe Jelly will help me out. I consider him capable.
