    Default DFA Dumaguete

Looks like the DFA may be following through with their plan to open up an office at Robinson Place Dumaguete. On the 2nd fl close to Globe there is a large wall sign announcing DFA but of course no date posted.

Shouldn't this be in the humor section? I think I heard this one before. It also has something about a check being in the mail and a personal promise to a significant other?

Actually they claimed it was already open in a national newspaper when they were trying to justify stopping all the travel agents from processing passports. Since all these new offices were up and running efficiently, there was no need for anyone to use a travel agent, meanwhile people are still lining up at 3 am to get a slot at Cebu DFA, and STILL having to come back the next day.

There IS a DFA office in Bacolod (look for the address on their website - Google: DFA Bacolod) where my wife arranged for her passport a week ago. No hassle, and the passport will be LBC'ed to our home address. What more do you want?
