| I have been living here for years and have recently been tested for allergies. I did this because I have had some on-going cold, and flu like symptoms (head ache, feel feverish, but no fever, slight sinus and nasal probs..) that lasts for weeks, months. I live in a native style house with nipa and bamboo and the allergy tests reveilled a re-action to house and dust mites... HELP !!! Anybody have suggestions or suffer the same ? ps...I have cats, and tests show negative re-actions...thank gawd the pussies can stay !! |

| Mam A has a point. Mango allergy is a lot more common than people think...particularly for westerners, a suprising proportion are allergic. I am...diagnosed when we lived in Hawaii for a while many years ago. Sharp doctor figured it out when he found out a tree was in the backyard. Chopped down - problem solved. Can eat some, peeled in limited amounts with pills on standby, but the pollen is certainly bad news... |
