a few questions from beginners..

Hello everybody,

I will come in september in Dumaguete with my husband and my brother, to live here during about one year...this is a huge adventure for us!! We come from France.
I have some questions :

_ In dumaguete or just around, is it a coral reef, are there any sharks, and is it possible to swim? (my dream is beginning my day with one hour to swimm in the sea.... )

_ how much is a motorbike (125cc) to rent and to buy?

_my brother is a player of kayak polo, and he would like to now if it'is existing in Philippines or not, and if it is some rivers to ride in kayak?

_ how often are the cut of electricity in Duma, and how cost a generator?

_ is it reasonnable to find a house for three between 13000 / 18000 php?

_ is there a library in dumaguete?

Dumaguete City is a college town, lots of students and no problem to find libraries. Swimming is no problem, we have plenty of places to go. There are fresh water places to kayak I am told, and kayaks are utilized in the seaas well.
You will find a place to rent as well.
Your command of English will enable you to communicate easily.
The people here from all over the world are on the whole friendly, adventurous,
and social. If you enjoy meeting new people Dumaguete City and all of Negros offers you an opportunity to jump into the scene.
Furthermore, if you have some musical talent don't forget to bring your instrument with you, a guitar, banjo, violin, keyboard, horn, flute, drums or a good voice will be welcomed to jam with the musicians who reside full or part time here.
