When I first came here I lasted for one week since then I have had heart aches from two girl friends and now on the third one. No normal heterosexual man can survive on their own for long in the Filipino candy shop. lol
Take care choose well don't let them hook you you go and hook them and the internets dating services they are not the right place to look. Nor are the girlie bars as your normally find most girls there are gold diggers, but not all some guys have struck very lucky.
Best wishes on creating a new life and I must say I am happy with mine. |
Jesuitshot,
From what I've read on this and other forums, you aren't alone in your happiness with your move to the Phillipines.
In regards to women, I know what you mean. I'm not actively looking but, I'm certainly a heterosexual man and if the right lady comes along, I'm not going to push her away. Thanks for the words of advice and encouragement. I think I'm going to like Dumaguete! It's going to take until around October of this year before I can save enough money to comfortably make the trip and have enough funds for rent and food etc. I won't have to worry about income once I get there because I'm on Social Security and the amount I draw every month will allow me to live quite comfortably.
Thanks jesuitshot! You brightened my day!!!
