DI member card

We playing with the idea to make a DI - member card.

I talked to most of our supporters and all of them so far are willing to give something extra for the card-holder (not for his whole company)when visiting their place taking their services and purchase something. The card has to be personalized (with picture and DI name) and will cost something like 250 peso. You guys have to send me a picture and I will make the card, it can be picked up at a shop or place in Duma where it has to be paid...

The benefits go in the following direction:

eat at a location get a drink for free
dive Apo, bring your Mahal for free
buy a souvenir get a small pasalubong on top
stay at a hotel, get your breakfast upgraded.

(these are just examples and not finalized, but things I was talking about with our supporters)

The benefits will be published here on the board and on a separate content site.

I just started this thread to find out if there id general interest or if we just should dump the idea.

Please give me your suggestion...

...but that is a great idea to have one for the members. I agree and hoping it will be realized soon.

Is the 250 pesos for a month, year or life time?

minimum a year, most likely lifetime.

Can understand your reaction, but I'm quite sure that your conclusion is a little bit "over"reacted.
The fact that nobody did formally reply to your question does not automatically mean they are not interested in the proposition.
For instance taking myself......I did mention to you verbally that it was a good suggestion, meaning also that I was certainly interested.
Maybe try it again. And remember ......not all members look each day or even week on the forum.
They will miss certain postings as I also do, although I do read on the forum nearly every day.
So....you have me now as a formal "customer" of the DI member Card.
I get the water already in my mouth thinking of all the next cold beers I can drink with a 25 % reduced price

I think it is a great idea. I am not much of a joiner but you may have noticed that Filipinos place value on group membership, and proudly display membership cards logo t-shirts at every opportunity.

Not a bad idea Rhoody but I think most still prefer to be anonymous.

What about T-shirt or polo shirt. Exclusive for members only, Just like in Golf clubs. I believe once it is worn by a member it gets the interest of other people and gets them hook at DI, They will jump on board. Also give an opportunity for members to get acquainted with each other. Only one for each member.
