Being an ex-software engineer and analyst makes me very aware that if you ban someones IP address, the guy can run tor etc, and then use anyone of the hundreds of IP addresses from all over the world.

My goodness. Babel, you are a freaking genius. With all your leet haxorz skillz on teh interntez perhaps I could hire you out so you can clean out teh cookeez on my computer. Apparently these days you use all the computer skillz at your disposal to annoy the hell out of people on forums.

Account bannings aren't meant to keep people out. They kill your account and send you a message that you are not wanted. Everything you post after that has to be dealt with just like any other spam. Most people will take the hint and just go away, even though they are aware they could just sign up for another account from another computer (or use a proxy) and boast about how smart they are(n't.)

TheDude, you are right...but I have to tell you, having been banned from another forum many times, under many names.... a certain young hipster keeps appearing....Yabbadabba, and bingbongadobo are just 2 of the alias's he has used....
