Default E-burial - viewing the deceased online

I have a relative in Cebu who just passed away, and his extended family can view his body/coffin online via a streaming webcam type service available through St. Peters Memorial Chapel.

They have locations throughout the Philippines.

It's not the same as being there, but it's a nice adaptation of 21st century technology
Fast this Life of mine was dying
Blind already and calm as Death
    Snowflakes on her bosom lying
    Scarcely heaving with her breath
Love came by, and having known her
In a dream of Fabled Lands

you're correct, it is a nice adaptation to something modern.

Wonder what internet service provider they're use to "stream" the video.

Why do you need a microphone or streaming video to view the deceased online?

I really don't think they'll be moving or have much to say.

NORMAL people and families, like to talk to each other during a wake, also they can take apart in any mass offerings.
i don't expect all can relate to this though.

I found this quite funny and typical of Philippine English. "E-burial" would have best described a technology or application that is used to inter the deceased but I have a picture of this "E-burial" service in my head where the interment is done remotely at the push of a button. But, hey this is the Philippines.

I have instructions to my family not hold any traditional wake or service for me. I want to be cremated as soon as I'm dead. I wish I can afford to have a rocket send the ashes back to space but in case I don't, I want to have it scattered over a particular mountain.

They may hold a gathering afterwards, without my cadaver.

I'm going to be buried at sea, and I want my ex-wife, who can't swim, to dance on my coffin.

Pray that she doesn't read this and start taking swimming lessons then.

I doubt she would. The coastguard once told her to get off the beach because the tide was waiting to come in.
