Antulang Resort offers horseback riding. Its 40 kilometers south of Dumaguete compared to Dauin which is just 16 kilometers south. I dont know of any resort in Dauin that offers horseback riding. Here is the link...

Antulang and Monarch Sands both offer horseback riding on their websites. Monarch Sands is in Siaton, near Tambobo Bay. Antulang is closer, turn off the howay near Km32 south of Dumaguete. I don't know if it is considerd Siaton or Zambonguita.

A friend here in town saw a bunch of riders along the blvd months back and found out you can ride their horses on the property where they stable the was how the story went. He took his two daughters there, and I think it was p250 each, but could be wrong.

I was relating that story to someone just this week, but I couldn't recall where the horse riding was. I think it was over by Silliman Farms.

He's the guy that has the mini Pincher dog. Most of the expats know Bill.

I was told there is a white horse at Antulang, but it just goes in circles.

When we stayed at El Dorado in Dauin three years I remember a Filipino fellow rode though every day on horseback. I really have no idea what he was doing, and never saw any of the guests riding. But I just noticed on their website that they list horseback riding as an activity.

Bill said you make a left at St Paul and go about a km to where there are cows grazing. Then make a right and a left.

There were only two horses maybe ..

There are horses in the Philippines? I've seen some things resembling a donkey or mule but no horses. I would feel like I would break the back of one of these "horses" here. Where are the Arabians, Tennessee Walkers or Standardbreds?

Arabia, Tennessee, and the international horse shows.

I saw a horse being written on the way back from Siaton. It looked healthy. However I agree most look extremely weak, including the ones pulling the carriages in town.
