Teacher, a carenderia is a good idea especially if you refrain from using MSG. I would certainly welcome an msg-free carenderia! Just my 2 centavos.

Smile Thanks

Thank you for the warm welcome. on the issue of the Bakery I know always to many. But it is for my Brother in law and his wife there children, I really have no plan to make money on it, But if he can take care of his family and if the Bakery pay's for itself I will be happy. The carenderia belongs to wife and I along with a couple of other small businesses I have planned we should be just fine. Only one problem everyone seems to think I am a new Westerner with the " It's only a dollar" thinking. But I am more Filipino in my thinking.
when I first arrived. I built a big house in Mindanao living like a American big life. But I was soon to learn the only way to live here is with a Filipino life style. So for two years I lived like a Filipino it's okay I feel like I understand now. something that can't be taught only lived. But Philippines is my home now. I am just a OFW right now he..he.. looking for a house to buy and 3.2M
2M are out of the question. OH one more thing MSG FREE always

My philosophy is the best business in the Philippines is no business, but to keep the partner happy it’s best they have one. Most want a small shop I tend to think its more of a place to hear the latest rumors, as I often sit listening to the local gossip at the local shop. lol

Best of luck and take care don’t jump into anything too quickly and stay wise

Default Thanks for the advice.

Well, Babel-fish
Thank you for your advice, in most cases I would agree with you. However I'm still young so I need headaches he..he after living there for four years. I was able to make a living, but my wife wanted see a little of the world and wanted to get in to business so we are in Taiwan making money to travel and then go back start business and by a new house. but one thing I know you can't just open one business and make it. you have to have two or three to just make a living. I plan to just keep an eye on things let my wife deal with the day to day issues. Sending her to business school her in Taiwan.
