Less than one month until our move to DGT!!!

Good afternoon, DI'ers! We are so excited that our countdown has officially begun!!! Rick departs the U.S. on Thursday, 7/23, and I will follow one week later (free business class ticket utilizing his frequent flier miles, wooo hooo!!!).

We have literally gotten rid of everything "material" -- all furniture and appliances, our winter clothes (which was a FANTASTIC feeling), two HDTVs (much to Rick's dismay), our three-year-old dog (much to MY dismay), and we're selling our car in the next two weeks.

What an incredible feeling to "cleanse" ourselves of so many unnecessary things (but I admit I miss my little dog). We are ready for the next chapter in our lives and can't wait to be in Dumaguete!!!

We're looking forward to meeting those of you in DGT very soon!!

sounds great... but shouldn't your little dog find his last use today (July 4th) as a kind of farewell snack on the BBQ-grill ?

That's just downright MEAN, Rhoody!!! LOL~

Puppy has been in his new home for weeks now, so he's safe from your vicious BBQ grills... look forward to meeting you at the end of the month, my friend!

Have a safe trip. it is hot now and if you stay in Manila visit the Manila Hotel for a great cheap gourmet meal, service and music very American. Try to have correct change.
