Default Moving logistics

anybody has experiance with moving in the filipines?

we need to move some house stuff from Quzon City to Dumaguete, is it worth the expense, what are transport costs etc?

Somebody sugested hiring a truck but considering what has to be moved that seems a bit over the top

Default Moving logistics not to bad.

Well Arie, I had my things moved from Cebu to Mindanao. I just looked for a shipping company. They arranged for pick up shipping and deilivery. cost me 22,000 peso at the time. just ask around lots of shipping companies. a little work well save you some money. I had people want up to 80,000 peso to do it but I just kept looking.

how much did you have to transport? we wont have that much stuff to move, but it includes a refrigerator and a television etc. I am not 100% sure if I should bother (depending on the costs)

you can always ship open freight on the ferries. If it is not to much stuff. I moved a few things around that way. however I was on the ferry and just hired a mini truck at the port to take the stuff home...
