| Since I joined this forum the other day, I noticed many things unusual: 1. Everytime I log in, my profile data are inconsistent at times, e.g., I have posted 2 replies but only 1 is shown. When I search my username, the second post becomes missing. I thought that it was deleted for some reasons, 2. I made my first post at the "General Chat" section, after submitting the thread, I cannot view it at this particular button, but on the second column "last post". When there will come another new topic, my thread disappears (this shouldn't be the case since both threads are just made "today" and yesteday's thread are still there) and I have to use the "search" of my username in order for me to reread it and to post my reply, 3. This evening's browsing, the second post finally appeared but I still use the search button in order for me to view the thread. 4. Lastly, this is my second thread and third post, but there is a statement above, that says that I never posted on this site. Administrators please shed us light on this matter? Did I miss something important? Or, the site (don't be shy b/c I and others want to understand) needs upgrading/maintenance? Last edited by Spinner; 09-10-2008 at 02:44 PM.. |

| Hmmmm, I try to answer understandable, even I don't understand all of it. 1. None of your posts are deleted 2. that can happen if with particular settings of your computer. The side is than loaded from your own cache-memory (try ctrl + F5 that refreshes the page from our server not the internal memory.) on the mainpage of the forum is always the latest post of the subforum. That means if you answer to a specific Thread for example in the subforum "General Chat" and another member is answering another thread in the same subforum and submits it a few seconds later, his post will be shown in the right column of the mainpage at the subforum "General chat" as there is always the "Last post" 3. screenshot 4. I look at this post and see that you have you have 3 posts, so that should answer it I am pretty sure I confused you even more, not my purpose sorry... If you have any other questions, just ask, I hope with the screenshots I made it a bit easier to understand... stay tuned and cheers Rhoody

| Thanks Rhoody for the effort. However, what you have shown to me is not true to my computer. I am showing you some screenshots I took at this 6:05PM. Supposedly, there shouldn't be any big difference at all with what you have but take a look. Please take note that I'm logged here as "Spinner". You will notice that my profile only shows 1 post on the first and the second screenshot there is no spinner's post between today, yesterday and since 9/9/2008. | Hi, when I look at your profile you have 4 posts... sorry, I see the time in your first screenshot, 12:13 pm on the DI frame(at lunchtime yesterday you had only one post) and 5:46 on your windows watch.... That simply means that you are loading the page from your cache memory not from our server... I can't do anything about that... you gotta change your settings, or empy the cache and reload. as a first step try to go to your CP and press ctrl+F5 at the same time, it should reload the page from our servers though and not from your own cache... If this does not work you gotta clean up your settings Rhoody

| Thanks Rhoody. I didn't do anything and the website is already working fine with my computer. So far, I can view my post in the right place, chronologically and all the data in the profile is already consistent. |
