[Teacher]

Roads not yet glistening, rain slight,
Broken clouds darken after thinning away.
Where they drift, purple cliffs blacken.
And beyond -- white birds blaze in flight.

Sounds of cold-river rain grown familiar,
Autumn sun casts moist shadows. Below
Our brushwood gate, out to dry at the village
Mill: hulled rice, half-wet and fragrant

sa tala akoy nakatulala (I stare at the stars)
sa kakaisip sayo sinta (thinking about you)
yakap ng malamig na hangin (the embrace of the cold breeze)
nadadama ang gandang iyong angkin (makes me feel the beauty you hold inside)

dinig ang alon ng dagat ( hearing the waves)
nakangiting tumititig ka (seeing you smiling at me)
sa tabi ko, ikaw ay sapat (beside me your all I need)
at hindi na mawawalay pa (and we will never leave each other)

walang hanggan (for eternity)
hiling ko tulad ng karagatan (I wish like the endless sea)
na tayo'y magkasama (we will be together forever)
nagmamahalan hanggang magpakailan man. (loving till the end of time)

a sad poem "haranang muli" (to serenade again)

Sa gabing malungkot ( On a lonely night)
Sumasayaw ang hangin ( the gentle breeze is dancing)
Bakit hindi makangiti ( But why cant I smile)
Nilulubos ang pagsasarili (entirely submerged in loneliness)

Heto nanaman ako ( here i am again)
Nalilito ang isipan (losing my mind)
Bumabalik sayo (returning back to you)

Ala-ala nang kahapon (the memories of the past)
Bakit hindi pa natuto (why didn't i learn from it)
Naalala mo pa ba? (do you still remember)
Nung tayo pa dati (when we were together)
Nung tayoy magkasma parati (when we were always together)
Ubod ng saya (extremely happy)

Heto nanaman ako (here i am again)
Nalilito ang isipan (losing my mind)
Bumabalik sayo (returning back to you)
Kahit hindi mo nais dingin ( even if you dont want to hear)
Aawitin ko parin (Ill sing it anyway)
Ang harana muli (to serenade you again)

We make ripples a stone in the water.
A light in the darkness a son or a daughter.
Was it chance or perhaps fate.
Just so hard to tell.
I know you have my heart, I hold yours as well.
You are there when i need you.
I just close my eyes.
Then we walk through the mountains or share the night skys.
