Smile Super typhoon Jangmi

Well the once super typhoon Jangmi has continued diminishing after making landfall in the northeastern county of Yilan . We were luck once again due to the blocking affect of the north to south Central Mountain Range. But I’m still always very uneasy when I hear a typhoon is on the way. Now the fresh vegetables and fruits prices will be high for a while. But my wife and I are safe and sound in our apartment building but living on the eight floor. The wind and rain was so hard that the rain came right in to our place, so lots of mopping. The lights flickered a few times but all in all not to bad here in Miao-li.

Glad to hear you guys are alright, I was a little nervous when I hear this was supposed to be the biggest typhoon this year & considering how much damage the last one did. Funny you mentioned about staying on the 8th floor & all the water you were getting....when I was living on a 9th floor building in Tainan, my kitchen regularly gets flooded during heavy rains...the water just soak right through the walls

Default Typhoon Jangmi update

Typhoon Jangmi has headed for eastern China today however while it was here torrential rains and powerful winds that sadly killed two people and injured more than 30.But there was a silver lining at least for me offices and schools were shut down today because of the storm's impact, So as a Teacher I got a holiday today.
