Default Yes pecoskid45

Yes pecoskid45, as shocking as you may find it. I do endeavor to instruct local inhabitants of Taiwan in the English language. However I believe that you are possibly referring to my grammatical inaccuracies. For me to literate properly it would be unfathomable to the general populous. Then there is another issue if I write using an expanded vocabulary most of the community would imagine that I’m egotistical. So I prefer to keep it simple, right or wrong that seems to be preference of everyone here.

As Rhett Butler once said, frankly Scarlet I don’t give a dam, seems to come to mind at this point. There is no point in being touchy everyone here just wants to help. When I write it is with honorable intentions even if it is a little pragmatic in the way it is said. For myself I find that many people from the western world are hardheaded and seem to think that everyone should do as they do.

I understand that they have a lack of exposure to the world at large. What impression do you think westerners give to people when they show up telling them they can’t do what they have always done? You’ll get same response from everyone, they feel offended. As westerners walk around saying we do it like this or like that. I know I have a problem with hasty retorts once in a while and for that I am apologetic. But when someone shows aggression toward the Philippines and its culture I am provoked by their lack of understanding, condescension, haughtiness and general ill well to fellow individuals.

As a member of this forum I appreciate your condescending to communicate on a simple level with us ordinary folks. As a simple person I was confused by your use of literate. You used it as a verb. Does that make the past tense literated. In my simple mind I always thought literate was either a noun or an adjective. I suggest that you might substitute bloviate in this case. Thanks.

Default Thank you Kenny

For the correction in my usage it was improper. by no means did I intend to imply everyone or anyone. For that I apologize

Default Dammed if you, dammed if you don't.

I should have used the word expound. May have not been the best post but it seems like to post you have to tread very softly because no matter what you say someone will be offended. Dammed if you, dammed if you don't. so back to Rhett Butler I go once again.
