| Ture most people in the third world have no need for things like Wii, Xbox, PS3. Something that we find as a common item in our homes in the west. They live at a slower pace of life, living is much easier. But if their are younger kids around they all go to internet cafe for on-line gaming. On one hand very nice idea, on the other repairs and buying games maybe come a problem later.

| They haven't broken anything yet...and they're over 70yo btw. We were thinking the some of the games would keep them fit a little. They say the Wii is doing wonders for seniors in US nursing homes as they get up and bowl, play tennis etc. |

well if someone is there to take them through the menu and start the activity for them, then it might work, u still have to deal with resistance to change and embarrassment issues |

| trying to get a 70 year old into gadgets, might be very ambitious. my experiments with answer machines, mobile phones and email all failed. well if someone is there to take them through the menu and start the activity for them, then it might work, u still have to deal with resistance to change and embarrassment issues You seem to think you know a lot about people you don't know anything about.. I only interested in availability information. Wala pa |

Even at 30 I can barely play some video games because they are hell on the thumbs. At 70 I'm not sure there would be a lot of games I could play. That leaves the games that you can play without the regular push button controllers, or maybe simple games such as puzzles which don't require alot controller activity. |
