| We visited this beautiful island only for 2 days. I must tell you that we had not booked anything before our trip, we decided last minute where to go (We allways travel like this - crazy , unorganized Greeks )We stayed at Kota beach which was fantastic! Huts on the beach , rustic but with a/c and a lovely veranda to sit and enjoy the sun setting over the sandbar! It was an adventure just to go there and back, but i will always remember the enjoyable ride with the tricycle crossing a green tropical scenery of Bantayan!! I start with the bangka (?) we crossed from Sagay to Bantayan. We traveled with 3 roosters and some men were playing cards standing around a wooden table covered with a towel for the whole trip. I wanted to get some more pictures but i didn't want to bother the people traveling with me..we were the only tourists in the bangka and everybody was looking at us.. An islet we passed by , and 3 pictures taken from the restaurant of Kota beach resort. Well, i said enough...a picture is like 1000 words.. Last edited by go2dbeach : 04-06-2008 at 10:31 AM. |

| Two photos of the beach in the afternoon. A photo from an afternoon walk in the hotel's garden. Swimming and taking photos in the morning A street scene the day we left as we are looking for a tricycle to get to the pier. But we finally missed the bangka for a few minutes Now i wish we had also missed the plane for coming back home! |

| Very nice photos. I'm sure you have great memories attached to each of these. I don't think anyone would object if you post more photos from outside of Negros ![]()
