| Hmm...I have not noticed any problem where I am in Mangnao. You buy these orange tags at City Hall for P1.5 each. Attach it to the outside of the garbage can and the garbage people collect it...I think once a week. (It may be twice...the helper handles that.) I have not noticed any of my neighbors burning trash, but they do need to invest in some garbage cans with sealing lids...they have a tendency to hang the trash in sacks on trees or fences to keep them out of the reach cats and dogs...so, you end up with 'basura trees' the night before garbage collection. Maybe that will be my Christmas gift to my neighbors...proper garbage cans. Hehehe |

| I just bought 10 small ones filled them with trash and threw them at the christmas noismakers as my personal gift ... comes really deep from the heart

| Hi, Marie -- We have weekly trash pickup here (Saturday mornings around 8:00-8:30). They collect whatever is out there, even without the colored stickers/tags. We've been in our house for almost four months now, and they have yet to miss a Saturday pickup. I have not seen any of our neighbors burning trash; leaves/grass periodically, but never trash. |
