yes I can confirm this.

The school will be called DACA (Dumaguete Academy of Culinary Arts). Location is in the middle of the boulevard/corner Noblefranca Street above the new Casablanca Restaurant.

The restaurant will transfer to the new location in about 2-3 weeks and the courses at DACA will start some when mid or end of April.

I will post more information about that school next week in the education section of the content-pages (not the forum) when I get a detailed schedule.

As of now I know that DACA will run several classes divided in full 3 month courses for culinary arts but also short 2-week courses for other topics (desserts, wines, bread-baking etc.)

Hope that helps for now already a bit

cheers

Rhoody

reedee is an unknown quantity at this point
Default culinary school

Is this going to be a full-fledged culinary school (with a degree being awarded at the end)? Or is it going to be something more casual for amateurs like me, who just want to learn some new cooking skills, without any pressure?
Thanks!!
Marie

welllllll, IMHO that idea is not that good. I wouldn't be the test eater like I don't wanna be the test passenger after the first few lessons of a pilot-student, it is very likely that both end in a disaster..

anyway, the latest info I got is that the restaurant is moving on March 28 to the noew location and the first 3-month course of the cooking school (culinary arts 1) will start on April 28.

I see for culinary arts three they list this item as part of the curriculum...

reparation deer + poultry

Must be roadkill. Either that or they meant for it to br "preparation."
