Smile Coco Grove Beach Resort

I went on a tour of the grounds of Coco Grove Beach Resort.

It was a spacious and beautifully laid out resort. it had swimming pool, billards and a dive center - one of the only two dive centers on Siquijor.

The weather was bad the day we toured here, so one of our priorities was TV in the room. None of their rooms had TV so we decided to give it a pass. But I would certainly consider staying there in good weather where in-room entertainment is not nessesary.

The rooms had refrigerator and aircon so that part was ok

At the entrance of the hotel they have a huge parrot which attracted a lot of attention. We got a few pictures in as well standing next to this beautiful animal.

During our vacation in Negros, we visited Coco Grove Beach Resort. A great resort. A very nice beach and it now has 2 swimming pools, one with a wet bar. We had a fun time. Got the idea to visit from this board, so thanks again Dane.

Here are some pics of the resort.

We're having punchless colada at the bar, at least one of us.

Love their Jeepney that transported us to the ferry dock. It's like the perfect filipino jeepney, got a great horn too.

Great pics there West Coast Hokies. We met a Couple in Bethel Hotel, Chris a Briton and Filipina wife Susan and their son whom at the moment residing in Hongkong and presently their house in Valencia is being built in a 5,000 sq m and told us to visit Siquijor coz it's a nice place. We will have to go to Siquijor and stay at Coco Grove next holiday.

Thanks for sharing these photos. The kids seemed to enjoy playing sungka and your wife looks lovely as ever.

Your welcome! Sungka...that's what it's called! I always forget! yes, they like strategy games, so they really picked up on it.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was a nice relaxing holiday and would highly reccomend it. The staff was very friendly and efficient. And they're expanding. We heard they will be building another restaurant and more cottages. I'm sure it will be done tastefully, wihout losing it's charm.

Your welcome Cyndi, and thanks for the kind words. That was my first visit to Siguijor and really enjoyed it. We got the idea of visiting this resort from this website. Glad to add a little more information, with pictures.

That parrot is in the reception area. Couldn't get it to talk, but the staff did get it to "dance"!
