Default Siquijor Island Improvement Foundation (SIIF) renovates Emergency Room

Like promised: the Siquijor Island Improvement Foundation (S.I.I.F.) finished after a couple of month collecting money island wide in 125 Donation Boxes in only 3 weeks the renovation of the Emergency room of the Siquijor provincial Hospital in Siquijor. This is now the 2nd slap from foreigners into the weak government faces of Siquijor after the big beach clean up at Siquijor Pier. Both events organized or founded by foreigners (SIIF by John Creasy, british, beach clean up by Ronald van de Vooren, dutch) show to the Siquijdnons, who really is concerned in the belongings of the Island, and who not.

For those, which would like to have more informations about the ideas and the results of the SIIF, here is the link: SIQUIJOR ISLAND IMPROVEMENT FOUNDATION CORP. - SIIFC, Siquijor, Hospital, improvement, donation

Tropical greetings!

Dear Forum Members and Readers,

above written posting has to be corrected as follows:

1.: The statement is a personal statement, written by me only. It doesn't mean, that my thoughts and statements are identical to the philosophies of the Siquijor Island Improvement Foundation Corp. (SIIFC) or the Beach Clean Up organizers.

2.: Just two days before writing this above written statement, a very good friend of mine died in this hospital; rumors said, that anywhere else he would have survived. That's why my words were written in anger. In that time, I've been only a promoter of the SIIFC; not a Officer like now. The work with the SIIFC gives me a different view now.

3.: If somebody feels personally attacked by my statements, I deeply apologize. This above written statement is also definitely not politically motivated.

4.: I state clearly: without the kind permission of the Governor of the Province of Siquijor, the SIIFC would not have been able to do what it has done to the hospital.

Kind regards and again my apologize!

Holger Kloepper
PR Officer SIIFC
