No problems mate, here's another link to a beach resort not stayed there but looks fantastic. Camiguin island | camiguin resort | camiguin accomodation | paras beach resort

just returned from Camiguin again last week.

update : the Para price has now gone up to 500, and beware, they can cancel anytime because of weather, engine trouble, so call or otherwise check with the port the day you leave to see if its still running. If it isn't you can then just adjust your plans and get the slower 135p 1.5hr boat to the maniland and share taxi (100p based on 5 sharing) to CDO.

because of unreliability of the Para, also not a good idea to get return tickets. It's never full - the boat has a 340 pax capacity it has never filled even once.

Just got back form Siquijor and heard a rumor that there was a ferry from the southern end of Siquijor to Balingoan, which I understand is where the Ro/Ro's dock form Camiguin.

Now that would make a trip there go like this ..

Dumaguete to Siquijor, Siquijor - Trike to Southern Siquijor - Ferry to Balingoan, Mindanao, then Ferry to Camigiuin

Anyone else heard of this link??

    Cheers

the rumour is total nonsense. Balingoan serves only Camiguin and that's it. I'm surprised anybody would be ready to believe this for a minute. One look at a map should convince anybody how impractical it would be. The only place in Mindanao that serves Siquijor by ferry, is from Plaridel, and not too many kanos turn up there.
