I will be off to Dipolog,via Dapitan, for a few days...just a look see,scouting trip.. Any hints on central, average priced,hotels?? how 'bout some bars worth a visit ?? music,girls, draft beer,would help...thanks ...Miguel

Last time I was in Dipolog (two months ago) Camilla Hotels were doing a promo rate of 599 pesos for double aircon room with hot water. They have two, reasonably central hotels, one of which has a very small swimming pool.

For me Top Plaza Hotel is the best place to stay. Always worth negotiating on price. About three months ago a double room was around 1200 pesos including breakfast.

Staff are the friendliest in town, and its right in the centre of things.

Ask for a quiet room as some rooms get a lot of traffic noise.
