My friends and I be flying to dumaguete from Manila next week and wanna stay at a hotel near the boulavard - Hotel Palwa or Bethel Guest House.

Need info on how to get to the city - taxi or tricycle?
There'll be three of us with some lugguage.

Enjoy the view by riding a tricycle.. unless if you have lots of luggage. I would go with Bethel. Its nearer from the Boulevard compared to Palwa. Both are good hotels

Good day!

Can anyone give me an estimate on the Taxi and Tricycle rates (to Hotel Palwa)?

I've contacted both hotels. Bethel has free pickup and Hotel Palwa does not.
Thanks.

Gosh, it can't be very expensive, as the airport isn't that far from any major points. Rates will vary by carrier and driver.

Taxi from the Airport are 300 (same Palwa charges for pick up). If you take a trike inside the airport you end about 50, If you walk outside abou 30 (for 2 person).

cheers

ask an airport porter (i don't know if they are still wearing vest with number) to get a pedicab for you and bring you to hotel palwa with your luggages.
Say precicesly that you'll pay 150 or more or less for the special trip and of course you pay the porter for 50 pesos or so. Be precised with the figures no more no less at any time.

I'm not sure if 3 of you with your luggage can squeeze in a pedicab so try to ask the porter to size up the whole trip.... if in case you need to have 2 pedicabs, it should be a separate fare so you can negotiate around the fare.
Don't leave the luggages alone by themselves.

But it's better to regotiate the hotel to assist you... it might come to a cost.
