Does anybody have any pictures of this resort? I saw the website but I can't see their Tripod hosted pictures.

Are there any other resorts near Bayawan?

Doctor Que and Tuvalles Beach Resort come to (my wife's) mind.

Internet hasn't heard of either one of those places..You'd think La Vista del mar could at least put a Geocities page together..

Guess that's tells me the quality of the resort

Maybe so or perhaps not. I have been to neither. I posted the names because my wife is from Bayawan and responded to my question. There are many other avenues to discovery than the internet alone. Sometimes we have to search harder.

First I've heard of any surfing down there..though I've seen surfboards going thru Midtown in Cebu.

My wife's from Manalongon, and has relatives in Bayawan

OK, seems to be working now!
Re the mentioned resort. I have been there twice (my mrs is from Bayawan).
First time we could not even get a soft drink as the place had been taken over for a convention of 7th Day Adventists...
Second time, we managed to get some mineral water. The one person who seemed to be a worker there did not seem interested in drumming up business. They have rooms/shacks, but I did not even bother to ask how much or look at one in case I disturbed her slumber (there were also a couple of evil looking dogs lurking by).
A great shame as the location is great....

Antulang Beach Resort - Philippines

this place is not too far from Bayawan. Very expensive accommodaton but great place to spend a day with the family. They charge a "consumable" entry fee.
