Default Where NOT to eat in Dumaguete

Roberto's!
Went there for supper tonight thinking I could get a steak there. BOY was I wrong. Had to be the worst steak dinner I ever had the opportunity to eat. I was told that it would come with fries and green beens. The stake was so thin that I could see through it. There was 5 (FIVE) french fries burned black on the bottom and 2 (two) small pieces of green been and they were also burned black on one side.
We ordered two different soups Cream of mushroom and cream of aspperagrass. We got one order of cream of cream soup and the other order got lost and I glad it did because it to was a cream of cream soup. No hind of anything that resembled mushroom or aspperagrass.
The only reason I left a peso was because I had NO centavos.
I went back to Coco Grande's restaurant and got not only what I ordered but it was a damn GOOD meal also. I have also got a special order lunch that was not on the menu with no fuss or complaints, just a yes Sir, and a big smile.
As for Roberto's, "buyer be ware".

My 2 centavos.

We haven't been to Roberto's and thanks Jim for the heads up.

Every time we visit Duma, we never failed to have a trip or two at Coco Grande and Coco Amigo's (owned by the same company). They always deliver good and tasty food and pleasant service as well.

Roberto's.. no comment.. i just don't want to enumerated how bad, totally, their services are. sorry! been there, waited "years" for someone to accomodate us.. we just left coz nobody did. I'm more fortunate than you Grandpainak. At least I hadn't got the chance to order the so-called steak with 5 burnt fries. hehe..

are you kidding me?
the Dane makes me laugh talking about good food and then mentioning persian palate
he also mentioned TGI fridays as being good
TGI fridays is an expensive macdonalds man and persina palate is slop and spice hardly what i would call a good curry
all I can say is the food must be utter sh*te in denmark if ytou think
TGI is good food along with persian palate
This is also coming from the man who wanted macdonalds here
get some taste mate
Oh I forgot you live iN Angeles so not much chance of that it being
ASias biggest dump!

Yabs - yes the UK kitchen is world famous for...

Drumroll... Danish bacon and tinned baked beans...

I will give you a moment to get your foot out of your mouth before continuing...

Ok... Persian Palate has according to Rhoody gone downhill since my last visit, which is really sad, they used to do a very good job...

Boston Market is another good little pearl, they grow their own herbs and stuff - I love their pastas but their pizzas are rather disgusting...

Lastly, comparing TGI Fridays with McD is just stupid...

Just because TGI is a franchise doesnt mean that it is the same as McD...

If you have ever been to a TGI fridays you would have noticed that their burgers for example are pure beef, no mixers and stuff... They have huge fresh and crisp salads... Their meat is great - all in all a nice dining experience...

Anyways, stop by Asias biggest dump one of these days and I will take you out to a mindblowing food experience in restaurants up here...

Default Bad food in Angeles City?

Hmmm...

Well, one of the reasons we moved back to the dusty little town was the food. While certainly the weather is nicer in Dumaguete and I truly miss the beach and scuba, the food has no chance of coming even close.

AC has some of the best places to eat in the Philippines... Here is just a random selection of pictures taken at some places here that serve some fantastic food!
