If you have cancer and want to live, go to a country with proper healthcare facilities. The Philippines is not one of them.

Are you just assuming the cancer patient has a passport and is able to leave the country or do you have inside knowledge?

It was just a general statement. Maybe I should keep it to myself so people don't get demoralized from the realities of life.

Perhaps, but that doesn't mean Philippine healthcare had anything to do with it. She could have been anywhere and lived longer than doctors thought she would. Happens all the time....and sometimes they live much shorter. When it comes to health, anecdotal evidence is the last thing you should consider. Play the odds, not the exceptions.

I had once a friend. In Switzerland he died 14 days after he got the diagnosis of lung cancer. Even very good hospitals can not be good enough to save the life.
